Do I need to replace soffits when I replace fascias?+
Almost always — the soffit sits behind the fascia, so it's far more cost-effective to do both together than to revisit later.
Cap-over or full-replace fascia?+
We almost never recommend cap-over. It hides rotten timber instead of fixing it. Our fixed quotes are full-replace, screwed into solid wood.
Aluminium or uPVC gutter?+
Aluminium lasts 30+ years and won't sag — recommended for character properties. uPVC is excellent value for standard installs and carries a 20-year warranty.
